Support Drives
Through support drives, groups
of people work together to collect cash
donations
to support the Central Dallas Food Pantry. This is the most
effective way to help us feed the hungry, because $1.00 in
cash provides more support than a dollar of food.
How?
By leveraging CDM's buying power, we can
obtain food at around $0.14 per pound. This allows us to care
for over ten times the number of families that you could support with
your own purchasing.
Compare our prices to the amount advertised by a local grocery store down
the street from our pantry . . .

community, we encourage you to extend your dollar by using our
leveraged buying power. To organize a support drive in your neighborhood,

Food Drives
We especially need canned protein (tuna, chicken, etc.).
This is an especially hard item for us to buy from the Food Bank, and it is
always in high demand.
Additionally, we need:

Canned food (soups, fruits, vegetables, beans, etc.)
-
Bagged food (rice, beans, pasta, etc.)
-
Boxed
food (mac&cheese, etc.)
-
Boxed/canned juice
-
Bottled water
If your group
would prefer to organize a traditional food drive, please contact CDM's
Director of Development,
Jeremy Gregg, at
