Since 1996, Central Dallas Ministries has partnered with the Dallas Housing Authority in helping serve Roseland Town Homes and Estates – one of the first public housing communities built west of the Mississippi. In the heart of the Roseland community, the 15,000-square-foot Roseland Community Outreach Center houses a gym, fitness center, sports leagues and a host of other activities for Roseland residents and the public. Prentice Richmond, who spent part of his childhood in the Roseland Community near Central Dallas Ministries, has had quite a year.
