ABOUT THE CENTER

Since 1996, CDM has partnered with the Dallas Housing Authority in the service of the Roseland Homes community for over a decade. Roseland was the first public housing community built west of the Mississippi for African-American families

CDM operates a food pantry at Roseland Homes that provides low-income families and seniors with access to the nutrition and sustenance that they need to maintain their health and well-being. This pantry is a satellite of CDM's Resource Center on Haskell Avenue.

In 2005, CDM was provided with the opportunity to manage Roseland's newly constructed gymnasium and community life center. This 15,000+ square foot facility is now the home of many programs for the community: click here to learn more.
